Ahead of release Smarty 2.4 we present you an interim release of our interface templates with important corrections and improvements.

Quick access to the film from the background of the main screen

IN release of Smarty 2.4, which we are currently preparing, will include a new functionality for installing a clickable advertising banner of the film on the main in Sibseti:

Support for this functionality from the template is ready now and we are in a hurry to announce it. After updating to the release of Smarty 2.4, the banner on the main one will cease to be just a stub, and will turn into a tool to increase the conversion of VOD subscriptions.

Support for Stripe payment form

In the Sibseti template, there is support for the first payment form with the input of card data from the TV remote — this is the Stripe payment form (previously payment was made only through a QR code).

Managing the display of the payment button is done by show_pay_menu:

The Stripe payment form has a number of restrictions in terms of device support, you can read more about this in the form of Stripe instruction.

• A new option added show_alter_auth_button switch between authorization methods.
• Adjusted operation of the option samsung_guidelines_compatibility_mode — now the back exit pop-up appears on the authorization screen.
• Fixed option operation vod_without_empty_genres — now empty categories of films are correctly hidden both in the section «Kinosal» and in the section «Archive».
• Fixed an error that caused the transmission program to display incorrectly if the current transmission started on the previous day.
• Small corrections were made in the logic of confirming the phone number by SMS.

• The algorithm for updating the transmission program in case of changing the channel category has been corrected.
• Option support added show_change_lang_settings to manage the display of the language selection section.
• Portuguese and Spanish localizations are updated.

New mobile client

• Added categories of selected content in the sections of TV, Cinema and Archive

• Added the display of legal documents on the authorization screen in the service.

• Connected the functionality of statistics transfer to the AppMetrica service for the ability to track installations and application stability.
• Corrected a pack of bugs in the mechanisms of the cinema and dashboard.
