In the administration panel, the content dashboard configuration is located in section «General settings».
Attention! This section is distributed as a separate license option for the Smarty platform and may not be available in the base version.
Inside the section, you can customize the tapes, which will subsequently appear on the main screen of the client application. Interfaces that support the display of dashboard tapes:

General tape settings
All tape types have common setting blocks: «General settings» and «Availability settings»
It should be borne in mind that to display tapes on mobile devices, you should note the template «Default» in the availability parameters.
Available tape types
- Main menu — supported in the Futuristic template, displays the main menu items in the specified sorting.
- Widgets — supported in the Futuristic template, list display flag in the main menu.
- Channels — supported in all interfaces specified in the introductory section, displays a list of channels with filtering by EPG category.
- Transmissions — supported in all interfaces specified in the introductory section, displays the list of programs with filtering by channel, category, genre and others.
- Movies — supported in all interfaces specified in the introductory section, displays a list of films filtered by genre, source and others.
- Selection — supported in all interfaces specified in the introductory section, displays the contents of a pre-created collection (creation of selections is in section « Content Settings» in the administration panel).
- Newly viewed channels — supported in the Futuristic template and mobile app, displays a list of recently viewed channels by the user in sorting from the most recent view to the oldest.
- Newly viewed transmissions — not yet supported in public templates.
- Recently viewed movies — supported in the Futuristic template and mobile app, displays a list of recently watched movies and TV series by the user.
- Slider — supported in the Futuristic template, displays a sequence of banners with the ability to run diplin on them.
- Player — supported in the Futuristic template, displays the player window, which plays the content currently in focus in the tape under the player.
- Genres — not yet supported in public templates.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there only 17 elements in the dashboard tape?
The number of elements in the tape is regulated by the option TVMIDDLEWARE_DASHBOARD_ITEMS_MAX_COUNT in the Smarty config, its default value — 17, the number is selected empirically in order to quickly load content on the main page of the application.
What content can be displayed in the feed with the type «Selection»?
The Futuristic template supports selections of channels, programs, movies and cameras, the Redmax template and the mobile application support only selections of channels, programs and movies.
